THE GREAT ESCAPE! Is on again.

This will be, as before, a 5 day ride, with 1st & 4th nights in Donnybrook, & the 2nd & 3rd in Donnelly River.

The start will be on Monday 18 November, from my place in Thornlie, the last being 22 November.

Riders can join in at any convenient point, & obviously leave at their chosen site.

The routes will be similar to last year, & there are BBQ packs available at Donnelly River, as before, with a light salad. Drinks are up to the riders. As the Donnybrook Motel no longer has food, it is suggested that the Hotel is the place to stay (& eat).

    Regards…Weeksy.

ITS COMING! THE GREAT ESCAPE, on Mon 18 to Fri 22 November.

    It’s a 5-day ride, overnighting in Donnybrook for 1st & 4th night, & in between, at Donnelley Mill (2nd & 3rd nights). The fee (to cover back-up) is $50.

It will leave Weeksy’s at 9 am for a 2-page ride to Donnybrook, with stops at Pinjarra, Yanchep, etc.

Riders can join us at any point that suits. The 1st over-night can be at the pub in Donnybrook. We will be dining at the pub.

Anybody joining in at Donnybrook only pays $30.

The middle 2 nights (at Donnelley Mills) will be in the Mill Huts, (which can sleep up to 7) & we can get BBQ packs from the shop, as well as breakfast.

Last year we had 8 members, which went 4 to a hut, with very good packs & a salad cobbled by Weeksy, so we will probably do something similar this year.

Rides on days 2, 3 & 4 will be single pager’s prepared by john Def’ last year.

Numbers are urgently required to be able to book the huts.

Accommodation phone numbers will be given later, when number of entries are known.

Contact Weeksy on 043 999 1584 or david.weeks1@bigpond.com for further information.
