The Busselton Boys have arranged a 3-day 2-night ride in November. The ride will be day 1 to Jurien Bay day 2 to Beverley and day 3 back home to Dardanup.
Day 1 will leave Busselton at 7=30am to Brunswick (to pick up Bunbury riders) about 8=15am then onto Pinjarra for morning tea and to collect the Mandurah Mob at approx. 9=15am.
As Manjimup is not on the route, I will leave it to them to make their own arrangements to where they might join us, from there we will head down South West H/Way to Thomas Rd turn left up to Tonkin H/Way onto Rowe H/Way just after Hale Rd then right onto Great Northern H/Way to Gingers Roadhouse for lunch.
The run from Thomas Rd to Gingers will be a free run to keep everybody as safe as possible no corner marker or following the leader so just at your pace that you are happy with.
Wednesday night I will book us for dinner at the Jurien Hotel and next morning we will go to Ian Boyd’s to look over his collection of bikes and all things interesting. After morning tea, we will make our way through the north eastern wheat belt to eventually arrive at Beverley for our overnight stop. Dinner will be at the Beverley Hotel.
Next morning we will help John the owner with breakfast (which will be a small cost) then head to Pingelly, turn off to the North Wandering Road over to Crossman, Boddington ,Collie onto Dardanup where the ride will finish.
Peter has arranged for a back up to follow us around the entire route. As it is ratified as a club event 404 concession bikes are eligible. The total distance is approx. 1200 KMS so please make sure your bike can do the distance.
As we want to keep the ride as casual as possible you can join or leave the ride as you wish. If you are thinking just doing the leg to Jurien and back, there will be NO back up on the return leg this will be a free ride at your leisure.
When booking the Beverley Hotel please mention that you are IHC members as we have booked the entire hotel for that night. If the hotel fills up there is the Freemasons Hotel a little farther down the road that has accommodation also. All accommodation is your own responsibility.
This will be a great ride with great company so book now to avoid disappointment. If you wish to go by car that is ok too. Any questions please contact me or the club captain or any of the Busso Boys.
