The Pre-48 Come and Try Day was so popular last year that it has become a fixture on the calendar and been moved forward to late November. The date this year coincides with your scheduled Sunday run on 24 November so hopefully by letting you know early, you might like to work it into your run.
The day is aimed at sharing the riding experience. We encourage members to bring along a Vintage or Veteran bike they are happy to let others ride. We also encourage all members to come along and try them out. Test ride a few laps around a short circuit in controlled circumstances and maybe a longer ride if the owners are happy. There will be all sorts from Veteran belt drive single speeders with no clutch, gears or brakes through to performance girder fork superbikes. Share yours and try some others.
We will have a short run from the clubrooms to the venue and another run back afterwards.
