Just a note to advise that all is progressing well and we hope to have a great event for motorcyclists
Unfortunately the manufacturers are somewhat reluctant to commit to the event at the moment with only Suzuki sending 10 or so bikes for display on the Sunday morning
A series of rides have been mapped out to cater for a variety of long and short rides on Saturday and Sunday - trip notes will be available as most rides will be self led.
The Historic Competition Motorcycle Club will be holding a race day on Sunday 24th at the Collie Motorplex and should be an exciting event
The Federal and Crown Hotels will be putting on entertainment on Saturday night 23rd Sept. for riders so make it a weekend ride and support RFDS
We have received donations of lots of items for raffle prizes at the hotel on Saturday
A shuttle bus will be running between the caravan park and most motels from 5 to 7pm and return between 10 at 12 midnight
The fare will be $3 each way with surplus funds to RFDS and designated bus stops will be signposted - no need to risk your license.
Kawasaki have donated a limited edition mounted print of World Superbike Champion Jonathan Rhea for a raffle prize on Sunday - limited number of tickets to be sold
Riders and motorcycle dealers are donating gear for sale at the Royal Flying Doctor Service stall run by Rotary on Sunday morning at Central Park in Collie
If you members can help with donations of good condition unwanted gear please let me know and we will arrange collection
Gear will be priced to go so come and pick up a bargain
Bulky items can be transported back to Perth for you to pick up from my house.
Collie Sunday Markets will be extended for the event and a 200+ bike procession will travel around the Collie district before ending at Central Park mid morning
Hope to see as many riders as possible to support RFDS
