WANTED
I thought that I would put a question out there to see if anyone can solve or help to solve my Triumph 1950 T100 mystery?
I bought this bike from a third party (antique dealer) a few years back, complete and unrestored, I was told at the time, that it did not have matching numbers, which should be the case for 1950 onwards Triumph’s in the vintage era.
Because it was a very early number in 1950, I thought that it may be a possibility that old frames prior to 1950, may have been used for this bike, which was quite often the case with some pre-war manufactures.
Writing to an expert over east to confirm this, he told me that my frame was a Grand Prix frame from 1948!
I have since found a standard frame from 1950 and currently switching it for the GP frame during restoration.
I was told that the bike was found in the Northam area and that there were no other Triumph or bike parts at the owners, during the purchase of this bike by the dealer.
Can anybody shed some light on what may of happen to the GP motor, which was probably blown up and why did the T100 with matching gearbox end up in this frame? I know back in the 60s/70s it was just convenience and there are not a lot of differences between the frames.
But also wondered, did this bike with the GP motor have any racing history here?
I would love to purchase a GP motor, but if you or somebody you know has the motor and doesn’t want to part with it, then I would like to reunite my frame with your motor.

I would like to place an ad in the newsletter for anyone that has parts for a late sixties, early seventies CD175 twin. I’m particularly after side covers and a carby. Also kick start shaft and back brake parts.
Thanks

This PA system has been owned and used by The Indian Harley Club for many years. We have recently upgraded to a new system so our old system is now for sale. It still goes OK and is supplied complete with digital and FM wireless microphones as well as a hard wired mic and other audio and power cables etc. The amplifier runs off an inbuilt 12V battery which is charged when plugged into AC supply. The 12V battery was replaced last year and is still in good condition and will run the system for several hours. 60W of power would make this good for the 'man cave' or karaoke.
