If you are thinking of attending The Veteran and Vintage Motorcycle Club of SA to our 70th Anniversary Rally, based at the Goolwa Discovery Caravan park.

I wish to invite you to attend our 70th Anniversary Rally.

The ride days are from

Monday 12th October finishing on Friday 16th October 2026.

Saturday 17th end of Rally, no ride day just your pacing up day

We have full 5 days of riding about the Fleurieu Peninsular.

Each day Leaving Goolwa Discovery Caravan Park about 0930 each day.

Rally maps attached to indicate where we ride each day

Each ride is lead by Brett Mitchell and Ian Hese, supported by corner marshals ensuring no one get lost.

Each day ride there is a Morning Tea stop and a Lunch stop before returning back to Goolwa Discovery Caravan Park.

Nearly each night we have something planned

Wednesday 14th - we have a day of displays at Gilbert's Museum in Strathalbyn from about 11am, where all participants will be there displaying their machine, with SA Police Historical Society supporting and many more other people.

VVMCCSA 70 Anniversary Rally entry sheets.

To all VVMCCSA members, interstate clubs and other riders. Please find attached PDF documents (whatever suits you best) available for entry to the clubs 70^th Anniversary Rally. This rally occurs every five years. The last rally that was being organised was for the 65^th Anniversary, this rally was cancelled due to COVID. Prior to that on the 60^th Anniversary Rally (10 yrs ago) there were in excess of 100 entrants, a large number coming from Interstate. We would love to see as many of you as possible out there in joining us for this event. The headquarters are based in Goolwa SA at the Goolwa Discovery Caravan Park.

If you would like to be a participate in South Australia’s 70^th Anniversary Rally please complete the attached Entry Form. This is a 5-day rally that runs from October 12 - October 16, 2026 in South Australia’s Historic town of Goolwa. Goolwa, during its heyday from the 1850’s to the 1880’s, was one of Australia’s most important river ports dominating South Australia’s intercolonial trade with Victoria and New South Wales. There are many places to visit that include Victor Harbor where a horse drawn cart takes people across a jetty to Granite Island, the bridge that crosses from Goolwa to Hindmarsh Island, wineries and much more.

York Motor Show

We would like to extend an invitation to the 2025 York Motor Show to be held Sunday 5th October 2025.

Please find attached:

* Entry Form for Club Participants (This form is to be used if you wish to come along and represent as a club but no partake in any judging categories).

If interested, please fill in and return to us. Email entries for exhibitors close on 3rd October 2025 at midnight. Any entries on the day of the show will close at 10:30am and need to be in person at the information desk. Those who wish to still exhibit their pride and joy and miss the entry cut off are still able to do so however they will be ineligible for judging and trophies.
We are trialing a new area this year being Avon Terrace, Howick Street and Peace Park. This means behind the Motor Museum and along Lowe Street will be open to the general public allowing for more parking to the event. Road closures will be in place between 6am to 4pm with the event being open to the public between 9am to 3pm.

Our group is running the Ludlow Art Prize again this year. The exhibition is open from the 25 October to 2 November 2025, 10am to 3pm each day. We invite the Indian Harley Club members to visit as a club event or individually on any day during the exhibition. Our Ludlow Cafe will also be open each day. I see there is a Busselton mid-week run on Wednesday 29 October. Maybe there could be a stop at Ludlow.

Please be advised, the annual Veteran and Vintage Motorcycle Club of SA (V&VMCCSA) Motorcycle Only Swapmeet is being held again this year on Sunday October 5, 2025 at the Balhannah Combined Sports Oval, 109 Onkaparinga Valley Road, Balhannah, SA 5242. This event will be the 24th running of the Club’s Swapmeet with all motorcycle clubs, their members and associated vendors invited to attend. If you wish to promote your club or motorcycle/scooter only related business on the day with a site you are encouraged to do so but sites are only available on a first come first serve basis. No booking required. Cost of entry is, Sellers/Clubs $15 which includes I x Person with additional persons $5 each. Buyers $5 per person, children 12 and under are free. No dogs please. Sellers admitted from 630am. Buyers from 7am. Overnight accommodation is available on site in the adjacent Council Operated RV camping area but again, this is on a first come first serve basis. No Booking possible. No Fires. Vintage Motorcycle Display - Celebration of Arthur Grady 1st Circumnavigation of OZ

You are invited to celebrate Arthur Grady's achievement. A vintage motorcycle display will be held in King's Square Fremantle on Saturday 17 May 2025 from 9.00am until 1.00pm.

Arthur Grady left on his extraordinary journey from outside the Fremantle Town Hall in Oct 1924. He returned in March 1925 to his starting point after a 5 month challenging journey around Australia. His journey can be viewed in full on the VMCCWA Club website at https://vmccwa.com/visitors/ist-motorcycle-around-australia/.

The commemoration will held from 9.00am to 1pm and display machines will be positioned in King’s Square for the duration of the event. The display will be an official part of the Fremantle Festival

This event celebrates a significant milestone in Western Australian motorcycling history and is also a major 50th Anniversary event for the VMCCWA.

Be great to see as many motorcyclist there as can attend, to commemorate Arthur Grady's achievement.
